honey hush.

because most of you know we live by the rule of bread. which is as follows: bread for breakfast, bread for lunch, bread for dinner…. and the only thing better than bread might be biscuits. and not just any biscuits, our dad’s buttermilk biscuits. so, we decided we needed to put a little spin on dad’s biscuits that involved cinnamon and butter and ended up being all ooey, gooey and totally not gluten-free or sugar-free or keto-friendly…BUT, it’s a really, really easy recipe so that counts for something, right? that, and we really, really wanted an excuse to use this awesome texas skillet…

the accomplices…

first, add the buttermilk…

roll it out and add the cinnamon mixture…

roll it up jelly-roll style…

then cut and place in pan…

we recommend letting these cool just a bit before you dive in…do a few sit-ups while you’re waiting…it’ll make you feel better about the 4 cinnamon roll biscuits you’re preparing to consume.

happy baking, y’all!!!

Just checking…does the cinnamon get mixed with sugar and softened butter or is it sprinkled on?
