horse stalls, chicken poop, & photoshoots…the glamorous life of a JG model.
last week, we did several photoshoots of our new goods that are rollin in the door daily. we ended up in horse stalls, our old red barn, and yes even on horseback….annnd it only seemed fitting to put the OFFiCIAL formerly-reigning SHELBY county PouLTRY QUEEN in my chicken coop for some of the shots.
when we do a photoshoot, there are always TONS ‘o shots that never get their day in the spotlight…the tee was wrinkled, the necklace isn’t featured well, i’m out of focus…or quite often (and much to my chagrin), amie’s hand sneaks into the shot (just as i’m snapping the picture) as she’s relentlessly prepping archie and all her get-up for the pics. :)
thought i’d share some of my fave shots with ya…the ones that might not make the cut for the cyber world…
for the first shoot, we loaded up our gear and headed to DaN KEEn HORSEMaNSHip HEADQUARTERS … where the horses are tame & the hearts are wild.
and we managed to wrangle up a couple of lil hippie cowgirls for the occasion…
a horse named clementine and 2 cutie pie snaggle-tooth BFF’s….so cute i seriously can’t stand it…
seriously.
and a WiLD MuSTANG named TRouBADOUR…
read TrouBADOUR’s story here!
and the next day…we were off to our barn…
i loved the way the sun was piercing through the beams in a spiritual kind of way…
and here’s a great one of amie’s hand :)…
and probably my favorite….the chicken coop shots…
because the life of a junk gypsy model is totally glamorous….

{and yes, as we were shooting, the hen in the background decided to lay herself an egg. GoD bless the country.:)}
that’s it for now…you can see waaaay more online in the gypsy store!! CLiCK HERE!
ANDDDDDDD….we have BiGGO, huGE, GaLACTIC news to share sooooooon (hint: end of september!!!)…
but until then, we’ll probably be off the ole bloggin’ radAR. you can keep up with us via twitter! it’s our easiest, on-the-road, gypsy-news-on-the-go medium!

Once again, I am living vicariously through y’all’s pictures and products. I love the Wild Heart tees. That’s what I wanna be! Those little girls are just precious. The one of the little girl by herself on horseback looking at the camera takes my breath. Keep up the good work, and thanks for allowing this hard-working, earth-bound single mom a chance to dream and fly away occasionally.
